Includes statistics about health services in Tucson gathered from 1946 to 1950 in preparation for a Project Survey Report, required by applicants for federal aid, prior to establishing the Pima County General Hospital. Also reports, newspaper clippings, and more about the transition from the Florence P.O.W. Camp to become the Florence branch of the Arizona State Hospital in 1948. Includes a 1947 report on the State Hospital with summaries of conditions, plans and standards as well as patient statistics. There is also newspaper clippings, a 1957-58 annual report and other printed material about the Pima County Sheriff's Office in the 1950s.
